Carroy (Cuf) Ferguson has his Ph.D. in Psychology from Boston College. He is a tenured Full Professor, Former Dean, and currently Human Service Program Director and Human Service Internship Coordinator at University of Massachusetts-Boston. In 2006, he made history by becoming the first African American President of the Association for Humanistic Psychology and is currently in that role again. He is an Author of books and articles; a Clinical Practitioner; Associate Editor of Journal of Humanistic Psychology; and Co-founder of two visionary organizations (Associates in Human Understanding; Interculture, Inc.). Since 1989 he has been contract lecturer in the post graduated school of Psychiatry at the University of Brescia, in the Forensic Psychiatry in the University of Modena, and at the University of Pisa until the direction of Giovanni Cassano. Phoebe Kingston is a mental health professional working in several roles in Western Australia (WA) including; peer support, professional speaking, several representative/advisory/advocacy roles, Board member for Recovery Rocks Community Inc’, member of an Open Dialogue Model for WA Working Party, Deputy Chair of the Community Advisory Council and Project Lead for Position Statements for the Community Advisory Council (CAC). Phoebe has been involved in several ground-breaking and innovative projects and initiatives in WA including the Increasing Membership Participation Advocacy & Co-design/production Training Project with the Western Australian Association Mental Health. In 2016 Phoebe completed the first and only tertiary Lived Experience Educator Unit in Australia at Curtin University, WA. In early 2018 she was appointed to the WA Recovery College Model Expert Panel where she’s overseeing development of the draft model of service for WA’s first recovery college network, reporting to the Minister via the Mental Health Commission WA.

I am a consultant psychologist, and have practiced in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. I completed my studies in the United States over the period of 11 years and this includes my undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral degrees. My Ph.D. in General Psychology was received from California’s NorthCentral University (2008) after earning my master’s Degree in Holistic Psychology at Virginia’s Atlantic University (2004). I use a broad spectrum of approaches in diagnosing and treating patients who may have a variety of psychological issues. Since establishing my Dubai consultancy eight years ago, my experiences confirm that the best way to diagnose and treat patients is by combining modern science and traditional holistic methods.
